Terms of Service (TOS)

G'day and Welcome to Blueys Renovations!

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Blueys Renovations website, the booking of services, and the entire renovation process provided by Blueys Renovations ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1. Agreement to Terms. You confirm that you are over 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. You agree to be bound by these Terms, which constitute the entire agreement between you and Blueys Renovations regarding your renovation project.

2. Our Renovation Services

2.1. The Blueys Rescue Plan. Our renovation process, "The Blueys Rescue Plan," is our proprietary method for providing a clear, communicative, and stress-free project management experience. This process typically includes initial consultation, quote and budget agreement, scheduling, execution of work, and final sign-off.

2.2. Quotes and Budget Tiers. All price quotes provided are estimates based on the agreed-upon scope of work and the selected Bluey Budget tier (Baby, Teen, or Adult).

  • Final Cost: The final project cost may vary based on unforeseen site conditions, changes requested by you during the project (Variation Orders), or material cost fluctuations. We promise Clear Honest Communication regarding any required budget adjustments.
  • Variation Orders (VOs): Any change to the agreed-upon scope of work must be documented in a Variation Order, signed by both parties, and may impact both the project cost and timeline.

2.3. Completion & Warranty. Upon substantial completion, we will conduct a final walk-through. We guarantee our workmanship against defects for a period of 12 months from the date of completion, as covered by Australian consumer law and our commitment to Quality Work, Done The Blueys Way.

3. Your Responsibilities

3.1. Accuracy of Information. You are responsible for ensuring all information provided to us (including site access, existing plans, property details, and contact information) is accurate and complete.

3.2. Access and Site Conditions. You agree to provide us, our staff, and trade partners (tradies) with safe and unrestricted access to the site during agreed-upon working hours. If the property is a strata title, you are responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals from the owners corporation before work commences.

3.3. Payments. You agree to pay all invoices by the due date outlined in the payment schedule. Failure to make payments on time may result in project delays or suspension of work.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1. General. Blueys Renovations is committed to Ensuring Every Project Is Completed with Care, Respect, and Precision. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

4.2. Unforeseen Issues. We are not liable for delays or damage caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, supply chain delays, actions of third parties not employed by us, or unknown conditions (e.g., hidden plumbing leaks, electrical issues discovered during demolition).

5. Intellectual Property

5.1. Design Plans. Any custom designs, plans, mood boards, or construction drawings created by Blueys Renovations for your project remain our intellectual property until the project is fully paid for. Upon final payment, we grant you a non-exclusive license to use the final design solely for the property renovation specified.

5.2. Marketing Use. You grant Blueys Renovations the irrevocable right to use photos and videos of the completed renovation project for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes, provided we do not disclose your personal address without explicit consent.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
